Künker sale 354, lot 6611

This specimen was lot 6611 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €650 (about US$905 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"WEIMARER REPUBLIK. 10 Reichspfennig 1932, G. RR Sehr schön. (Germany, Weimar Republic, ten pfennig of 1932. Very rare, very fine.)"

This type was issued from six mints 1924-36 and is common but this date from the Karlsruhe mint is rare.

Recorded mintage: 137,000, the key date.

Specification: 4.05 g, aluminum bronze, 21 mm diameter.
