This specimen from the Bayonne mint was struck during Napoleon's brief return to power during 1814-15 (the "Hundred Days"). It is scarce in all grades. Five francs of Louis XVIII also exist for 1815 and are quite a bit more available.

Recorded mintage: 96,584[1].

Specification: 25 g, 0.900 fine silver, 37 mm diameter, edge lettered DIEU PROTEGE LA FRANCE, designed by Pierre Joseph Tiolier.
