This specimen was lot 34317 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guerrero. Campo Morado. 10 Centavos, 1915-CM GRO. NGC Unc Details--Environmental Damage. Only slightly rough, this SCARCE minor denomination presents ample detail with little evidence of handling." This type, accompanied by copper fifty, twenty and five centavos, is common but normally comes wretched. Many varieties exist.
