This specimen was lot 2399 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it sold for $129.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico: Guerrero. 5 Centavos, 1915-CM NGC AU58 BR. Campo Morado. Revolutionary coinage. The finest and only example graded at NGC for the type. NGC graded AU-58 Brown." This type, accompanied by copper ten, twenty and fifty centavos, is common but normally comes wretched.
