This specimen was lot 73470 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guerrero. Campo Morado. 20 Centavos, 1915-CM GRO. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. Despite the noted cleaning, this 20 Centavos has nice preserved details and offers an affordable representative of this type." This type, accompanied by copper ten, fifty and five centavos, is common but normally comes wretched. Many varieties exist.
