This specimen was lot 73504 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $280. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guerrero - Taxco. 50 Centavos, 1915. PCGS AU-53. Variety struck in copper. A nicely struck and clearly detailed example of the type, this piece offers nice reddish brown patina on its unproblematic surfaces." The Zapatistas also issued fifty centavos in silver, which are worth more then and today.
