This specimen was lot 73436 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guerrero. Taxco. 10 Centavos, 1915. PCGS AU-55. Quite appealing for the grade assigned, with little in the way of wear and significant luster remaining in the fields. One of the first Taxco pieces we an recall presenting of late this piece will attract numismatic specialists." There are many other Guerrero 10 centavos but this is the only one for Taxco. Other issues from this town, likely struck by the Zapatistas, include include five and fifty centavos and one peso.
