This specimen was lot 3747 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €2,200 (about US$2,887 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"CHINA, Volksrepublik. 50 Yuan 1995. Erfindungen und Entdeckungen des Altertums - 5. Serie. Musikinstrumente. 15,55 g Feingold. GOLD. R Polierte Platte. (people's republic of China, fifty yuan of 1995, ancient inventions and discoveries, musical instruments. Rare, proof.)"
