Mexico 1850-Pi MC real

This specimen was struck at the San Luis Potosi mint in 1850. This mint struck silver coins 1825-93, with one reals recorded for 1831, 1837-62. The one reals from this mint are not rare but are priced, on average, double the contemporary products from Zacatecas or Guanajuato.

Specification: 3.38 g, .903 fine silver, .099 troy oz ASW.
