This specimen was lot 72307 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $585.60. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Mexico|MEXICO]]. Real, 1830-Ga FS. Guadalajara Mint. NGC VF-30. Very rare date. Only example graded by NGC. Toned and attractive. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Reales Minors." KM VF $475 vs $8 for 1843. Of the fourteen mints of the Republic of Mexico, only Oaxaca and Real de Catorce did not strike this type. Unlike the half reales, which appear occasionally in gem condition, this denomination nearly always comes heavily circulated. One reales were struck at the Guadalajara mint nearly continuously 1826-62. Assayer FS is listed for 1825-36. This date is listed as very rare.
