All coinage of the Estado de Mexico mint, which operated 1828-1830, is scarce and expensive. The second specimen was lot 6276 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $4,887.50. The catalog description<sup>[2]</sup> noted, "[[Mexico|MEXICO]].
