Shown is an 1862MO-CH four reales, one of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1829, 1850-63, 1867-68. Assayer CH is recorded for 1861-63 and 1867. Ten mints (Mexico City, Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Potosi, Oaxaca, Hermosillo, Real del Catorce, Guadalupe y Calvo, Guadalajara and Culiacan) struck this type of which Zacatecas is tied with Guanajuato as the commonest mint. Mexico City has no common dates. This date is somewhat scarce.

Specification: 13.54 g, .903 fine silver, .392 troy oz ASW.
