This specimen was lot 4185 in Sincona sale 67 (Zürich, October 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Nâsir al-dîn Shâh, 1264-1313 H./1848-1896 AD, Machine struck coinage, always with the mint name Tihrân, silver coins. 2000 Dinars (2 Qiran) 1305 H. Name and title including sâhibqirân in wreath without crown, rev. lion in wreath with crown above and date at bottom. Uncirculated."
This silver coin was struck AH 1299-1308 and this is a common date. With the coming of the milled coinage, all of the branch mints were closed and all production was completed in Tehran.
