This specimen was lot 4207 in Sincona sale 67 (Zürich, October 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"'IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Nâsir al-dîn Shâh, 1264-1313 H./1848-1896 AD, Machine struck coinage, always with the mint name Tihrân, copper coins. 100 Dinars 1304 H. Some weakness, extremely fine."
This copper coin was struck AH 1297-1308 and 1313 plus various bungled dates. This is the most common date. One shahi was fifty dinars. With the coming of the milled coinage, all of the branch mints were closed and all production was completed in Tehran.
