This specimen was lot 4170 in Sincona sale 67 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 90 CHF (about US$119 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Nâsir al-dîn Shâh, 1264-1313 H./1848-1896 AD, Machine struck coinage, always with the mint name Tihrân, silver coins. 500 Dinars or 1/2 Qiran 1306 H. Extremely fine."
This silver coin was struck AH 1297-1301, 1306-07, 1311 and undated. With the coming of the milled coinage, all of the branch mints were closed and all production was completed in Tehran.
