This specimen was lot 2224 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hannover, ab 1814 Königreich, Georg V. 1851-1866 Doppelter Vereinstaler 1854. B Hannover Königliche Familie. Vorzüglich. (kingdom of Hannover, George V, 1851-66, double union thaler of 1854, Hannover mint, on the royal family. Extremely fine.)"
This double thaler commemorating the royal family is mentioned in Davenport but omitted from the SCWC, probably denounced as a mere medal.
