This specimen was lot 22391 in Stack's Bowers 2018 NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 10 Yuan, 1995. Lunar Series, Year of the Pig. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Scallop edge. Free of tone, haze or fog." The Chinese government has, since the mid 1980's, produced a mind boggling array of bullion related collectibles. This one honors the Year of the Pig and is accompanied by a silver ten yuan with a round edge (KM 745).

Recorded mintage: 6,800.
