This specimen was lot 33500 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "China: People's Republic gold Proof Scalloped "Year of the Pig" 100 Yuan 1995 PR69 Deep Cameo PCGS." The lunar series, featuring the Year of the Pig for 1995, was issued in many denominations in silver and gold. Scalloped coins were minted 1993-96 but dropped thereafter.

Recorded mintage: 2,300.

Specification: 15.55 g, 0.999 fine gold, 0.500 troy oz AGW.
