This specimen was lot 5668 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €160 (about US$223 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, Ernst August, 1679-1698, seit 1662 Bischof von Osnabrück. 1/3 Taler 1692, Clausthal. Ausbeute der Grube St. Andreas. Fast vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Erworben 1975 von der Firma Karl-Ludwig Grabow, Berlin. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg, Ernest Augustus, 1679-98, bishop of Osnabrück since 1662, one-third thaler of 1692, Clausthal mint, for the St. Andrew mine. About extremely fine.)"

This type, with St. Andrew on the reverse, was struck 1690 and 1692. Others of this denomination featured the wild man or the leaping stallion of Hannover.
