This specimen was lot 5666 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €950 (about US$1,322 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, Ernst August, 1679-1698, seit 1662 Bischof von Osnabrück. Reichstaler 1692, Clausthal. R Feine Patina, fast vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 59, Osnabrück 2000, Nr. 1922. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg, Ernest Augustus, 1679-98, bishop of Osnabrück since 1662, thaler of 1692, Clausthal mint. Rare, fine patina, about extremely fine.)"
