This specimen was lot 5637 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €380 (about US$529 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, Johann Friedrich, 1665-1679. 24 Mariengroschen 1675, Hannover. Hübsche Patina, kl. Randfehler, sehr schön. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Dr. Waldemar Wruck 16, Berlin 1965, Nr. 809. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg, John Frederick, 1665-79, 24 mariengroschen of 1675, Hannover mint. Handsome patina, minor planchet defects, very fine.)"

Two-thirds thaler = one gulden. This issue was part of the fad for striking this denomination which swept north Germany in the 1670's. Many obverse and reverse varieties exist. This one is accompanied by a very similar gulden (KM 169) with large ships on the reverse.
