Morton & Eden sale 104, lot 370

This specimen was lot 370 in Morton & Eden sale 104 (London, November 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic, 4 reales, San Luis Potosí mint, 1864 RO, scratches and scuffs on both sides, generally fine, very rare." There are a few common dates from this mint but most are rare.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a very rare date.

Specification: 13.54 g, 0.903 fine silver, 0.3925 troy oz ASW.
