This specimen was lot 2335 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$223 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR/ÖSTERREICH Ferdinand II. 1618-1637. Taler 1621, Wien. Korrossionsspuren. Sehr schön. (Austria, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, thaler of 1621, Vienna mint. Corrosion spots, very fine.)"
This type was struck 1620-21 at Vienna. In addition, other Austrian thalers for 1621 include Dav-A3147, -3100, -3329, -3328, -3102, -3115, -3116, -3120, -3121, -A3125 and -3118. Quite a challenge for those used to collecting neat rows of Lincoln cents. This type is common.
