This specimen was lot 2830 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Ferdinand II, 1619-1637, AR vierer (quadrans, 4 heller), Hall, ND (1621-23), Tyrol issue, PCGS graded AU58." This kipper issue is attributed to 1619 in the SCWC and alleged to be silver. Numista says it is copper but we think it is billon, in keeping with the fraudulent nature of the kipper bubble.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 0.35 g, billon, 14 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-235, MT-443.
