This specimen was lot 3688 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,964 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Dukat 1741, Zürich. Selten. Fast FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, ducat of 1741, Zürich mint. Rare, About uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1718-67 along with quarter (Fr-488a), half (Fr-487a) and double ducats (Fr-485a).

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 3.40 g.
