Sincona sale 95, lot 4689

This specimen was lot 4689 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$520 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, 20 Schilling (Halbgulden) 1743, Zürich. Vorzüglich-FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, twenty schilling or half gulden of 1743, Zürich mint. About Uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1718-45, 1748, 1751-53, 1756-61, 1767-68 and was worth half a gulden or a quarter thaler. The SCWC notes this as a slightly better date.
