This specimen was lot 1092 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 505 CHF (about US$606 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"150 Yuan 1989. Jahr der Schlange. Nur 7500 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. FDC. (China, 150 yuan of 1989, Year of the Snake, Only 7500 pieces struck, Choice Proof.)"
