This specimen was lot 579 in Aureo sale 269 (Barcelona, July 2015), where it sold for €70 (about US$91 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1989. China. 10 yuan. AG. Animales en peligro. Escasa. Proof. (China, silver ten yuan of 1989, endangered wildlife, proof.)"
Recorded mintage: 10,000, all proof.
Specification: 27 g, 0.925 fine silver, this specimen 26,96 g.
