This specimen was lot 74270 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Silver 10 Yuan, 1991. Panda Series. NGC MS-69. Large date. Quite an impressive example of the desirable large date variety that is well deserving of its nearly flawless Ultra Gem designation. Surfaces are free of tone, haze, spots, or notable marks." This is one of an extensive series of NCLT's struck in silver, gold, platinum and palladium featuring the panda. This series debuted in 1983 and is still in production after hundreds of types. Other ten yuan for 1991 include KM 296, 299, 347, KM 356, KM 360, 361, 369, 370, 372, 373, 374, 375, KM 386.2, 386.3.

Recorded mintage: 100,000 plus 20,000 with "P".

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine silver.
