This specimen was lot 2270 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $3,360. The catalog description[1] noted, "China. Palladium 50 Yuan, 1989. Panda on grid background. 3,000 minted. Choice Brilliant Proof." So far as we know, this is the only palladium panda.

Recorded mintage: 3,000.

Specification: 31.10 g, palladium, 1.000 ounce APW.
