This specimen was lot 5672 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €300 (about US$418 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, Ernst August, 1679-1698, seit 1662 Bischof von Osnabrück. 1/8 Reichstaler 1698, Clausthal, auf seinen Tod am 23. Januar. R Hübsche Patina, fast vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 49, Osnabrück 1999, Nr. 1783.
