This specimen was lot 70243 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2020), where it sold for $90. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Mexico|MEXICO]]. 5 Centavos, 1890-Mo M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64. Pleasingly toned and shimmering from beneath, this near Gem is exceeded in the NGC census by just one example." Shown is an 1890-MoM five centavos, of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1869-1897. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64. Pleasingly toned and shimmering from beneath, this near Gem is exceeded in the NGC census by just one example." Shown is an 1890-MoM five centavos, of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1869-1897. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition.
