Shown is an 1890GoR five centavos, of a type struck at the Guanajuato mint 1869-1897. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Potosi, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, Alamos and Mexico City. An overdate, 1890/5, is recorded for the year with an overassayer, R/S.

Specification: 1.35 g, .903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.

Mintage: 250,000.
