Mexico 1867Go 8 reales rev DSLR.jpg

The Guanajuato mint struck eight reales 1824-97 and this date is slightly scarce. Dunigan and Parker note that this date, like most from the 1860's, was produced from an 186/5 hub, causing most coins to bear traces of an overdate.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 27.07 g, .903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.

Catalog reference: KM 377.8, DP-Go49.
