This specimen was lot 1574 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €9,500 (about US$10,973 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, RATISBONNE (REGENSBURG), Ville impériale, AV ducat, s.d. (1745-1765). Au titre de François Ier. D/ B. l., dr. et cuir. de l'empereur à d. R/ Vue de la ville. Rare. Petit éclat du flan au droit. (Germany, city of Regensburg, undated gold ducat, circa 1745-65in the name of Francis I. Obverse: laureate, draped and armored bust right; reverse city view. Rare, obverse edge nick, Extremely Fine.)"

This is one of a series of city view coins, ranging from one quarter to twenty ducats.
