Künker sale 405, lot 3237

This specimen was lot 3237 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €4,400 (about US$5,773 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FRANZ I., 1745-1765. Goldmünzen aus der Zeit des Kaisers Franz I. ½ Dukatenklippe o. J. Münzmeister Johann Christoph Busch. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Prachtexemplar. Stempelglanz. (city of Regensburg, undated klippe half ducat. Extremely rare, cabinet example, uncirculated.)"

Both the SCWC and Friedberg mention a klippe half ducat with an eagle obverse and city keys reverse (KM 328/Fr-2540) but this one is lacking.
