Künker sale 405, lot 3233

This specimen was lot 3233 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €17,000 (about US$22,306 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FRANZ I., 1745-1765. Goldmünzen aus der Zeit des Kaisers Franz I. Dukat o. J. (1745-1765), mit Titel von Franz I. Münzmeister Johann Christoph Busch. Stempel­schneider Johann Leonhard Oexlein. In US-Plastikholder der NGC mit der Bewertung MS 62 (6643582-008). GOLD. Min. gewellt, vorzüglich. (city of Regensburg, undated ducat, struck in the name of Francis I. Graded NGC MS-62, slightly wavy, extremely fine.)"

This one differs from the similar Fr-2539 in the reverse legend; this one shows "SIBI CONSCIA RECTI" while Fr-2539 has "DVCATVS RATISBON".
