This specimen was lot 3250 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €3,100 (about US$4,068 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FRANZ I., 1745-1765. Kurant- und Scheidemünzen aus der Zeit des Kaisers Franz I. vor der österreichisch-bayerischen Münzkonvention vom 21. September 1753. Doppelter Reichstaler o. J. (1745-1765), mit Titel von Franz I. Münzmeister Johann Christoph Busch. Stempelschneider Christoph Daniel Oexlein. Von größter Seltenheit. Feine Patina, Felder min. geglättet, sehr schön. (city of Regensburg, undated double thaler struck in the name of Francis I before the Austro-Bavarian monetary convention of September 1753. Extremely rare, fine patina, light smoothing in the fields, very fine.)"
