This specimen was lot 3752 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €600 (about US$785 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1840. 1/3 Taler 1809, A. Äußerst selten in dieser Erhaltung. Prachtexemplar. Min. justiert, Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William III, 1797-1840, third thaler of 1809. Extremely fine in this condition, cabinet example, minor adjustment marks, uncirculated.)"
This type was struck in 1809 only, the last of the denomination.
