Künker sale 353, lot 4024

This specimen was lot 4024 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,100 (about US$2,923 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1840. Ku.-Kreuzer 1810, A. Prägung für Schlesien. Vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Westfälische Auktionsgesellschaft 23, Dortmund 2003, Nr. 568. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William III, 1797-1840, copper kreuzer of 1810, struck for Silesia. Extremely fine.)"

This rare issue was the last coin struck specifically for Silesia.
