Künker sale 353, lot 4018

This specimen was lot 4018 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €35 (about US$49 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1840. Ku.-Pfennig 1810, A. Prägung für die mittleren Provinzen. Fast vorzüglich. Erworben im November 1996. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William III, 1797-1840, copper pfenning of 1810, struck for the middle provinces. About extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1810-16 and is common.
