This specimen was lot 2768 in Ponterio sale 164 (New York, January 2012), where it sold for $184. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guanajuato. 8 Reales, 1895/1-GoRS. NGC MS-62." This date, nearly the last for Guanajuato, is common but numerous varieties exist, including 1895/1 (shown here) and 1895/3. The Guanajuato mint closed in 1900.
