This specimen was lot 634 in Morton & Eden sale 104 (London, November 2019), where it sold for £120 (about US$186 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Decimal Coinage, gold peso, Guanajuato mint, 1895/3 R, struck from clashed dies, some ‘ghosting’ on reverse which has unfortunately been partially polished and also with a small rim nick, otherwise extremely fine [673 pieces dated 1895 struck]." Despite the tiny mintage, this is accorded only a somewhat better date. The SCWC does not mention the overdate.

Recorded mintage: 676.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.875 fine gold, .047 troy oz AGW.

Catalog reference: KM 410.3.
