This specimen was struck at the Zacatecas mint in 1827, one of a type struck there 1826-69. Assayer AO is listed for 1826-29. Most Zacatecas issues are common. The catalog makes no mention of the missing "S" in the mintmark.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.903 fine silver, .049 troy oz ASW.
