The specimen shown is one of a series struck 1825-69 at Mexico City. Long[1] notes this date as rather rare, commenting, "a somewhat indistinct 7/6 appears on some coins...this may be the outline of a plug in the die." The specimen shown has a repunched "2" with a possible "7/6."
Recorded mintage: unknown.
