This specimen was lot 73508 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $45. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Jalisco. 2 Centavos, 1915. Guadalajara Mint. NGC AU-58. This pleasing near-Mint example delivers a strong strike and only the most limited signs of handling." This type, accompanied by copper one, five and ten centavos, is common but normally comes wretched. A small cap variety (KM 676.2) exists but is quite rare.
