This specimen was lot 10302 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €456 (about US$475). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 1/2 Skilling, 1694. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU-58 Brown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type, one of the first Danish coins issued in pure copper, comes with (KM 421.1) or without (KM 421.2) the mark of value. It was struck 1693-96. The SCWC notes that the KM 421.2 for 1694 is unique. Half a skilling was 1/192 of a speciedaler.
