This specimen was lot 10305 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €1,080 (about US$1,126). The catalog description^[1] noted, "DENMARK. Skilling, 1694. Gluckstadt Mint. Christian V. NGC Unc Details--Cleaned. Nice example of this scarce single year type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1694 only and is rare. Christian V was king of Denmark and duke of Schleswig-Holstein. One skilling was 1/64 krone or 1/96 speciedaler.
