This specimen was lot 4952 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €420 (about US$550 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DÄNEMARK, KÖNIGREICH. Christian V. 1670-1699. 8 Skilling 1695, Kopenhagen. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (kingdom of Denmark, Christian V, 1670-99, eight skilling of 1695, Copenhagen mint. Extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
The second specimen was lot 10306 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description[2] noted, "DENMARK. 8 Skilling, 1695. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU-53. Scarce variation with "Dei Grat" in obverse legend. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." The SCWC mentions two varieties for this one year type; one with obverse legend DEI GRA (first specimen) and another with DEI GRAT (second specimen). The "·P·&·I·" on the reverse is not a mintmark but the king's motto, "PIETATE ET IVSTITIA".

Specification: 3.06 g, 0.562 fine silver, 21 mm diameter, the first specimen 2.91 g.
