This specimen was lot 10298 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1693-CW. Gluckstadt Mint. Christian V. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck at Gluckstadt along with a krone with the date below the shield (KM 77.2). The Copenhagen mint switched to a krone with a bust obverse in 1693 (Dav-3648).

Specification: 22.27 g, 0.671 fine silver, this specimen 21.86 g.
